Dr. Cassandra Cruzen
Dr. Cruzen graduated from Michigan State University in 1994. Soon after graduation, she moved to Alabama where she has been practicing in the Madison area ever since. Her husband works for NASA and they have two boys. She is owned by two cats named Kayla and Pumpkin, and a yellow Lab named Buck.
Dr. Sarah Estess, Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Estess is a graduate of Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She has been practicing in Northeast Alabama for the past 2 ½ years, and has recently joined the AHCC family in 2014. She enjoys cooking, reading, and horseback riding in her spare time. She has 2 dogs, 2 cats, and a horse.
Monnie, Office Manager
Monnie has lived in the Huntsville/Madison area all her life, and has worked in the veterinary field since 1997. She attended the University of Alabama in Huntsville for 3 years, but has yet to decide what she wants to be when she grows up. In her spare time, Monnie enjoys reading, writing, obsessing about TV shows, traveling, and playing with her two dogs, named Oliver and Shotzi.
Bailee, Veterinary Assistant
Bailee has lived in North Alabama her entire life. She has worked at AHCC since 2012. When she isn’t at the clinic, she spends her time caring for her own animals, which include 2 dogs, a cat, and a miniature pig, as well as goats, horses, and cattle.
Carrie was born and raised in Gloucester, Virginia. She later moved to Athens, Alabama in September of 2005. Carrie earned her Veterinary Assistant Certificate in May of 2014. She has one son who plays football for East Limestone School. She loves to spend time with her family and friends. When she is not at work, Carrie likes to watch movies, do all types of crafts, and spend time with her 7 dogs and 2 guinea pigs.
Becky has been part of the Animal Health Care Center team since June of 2015. When she isn’t at the clinic, she enjoys cooking, reading, and traveling with her husband. She also enjoys spending time with her three children and two grandchildren. She has one dog and two cats.
Stephen was born in Adelaide, Australia, and has lived in Huntsville for the past 15 years. He recently graduated from Sparkman High School, and is currently attending Calhoun Community College. Stephen plans to attend veterinary school, but in the meantime he loves getting to work with animals, and enjoys the opportunity to see how a great veterinary hospital works. Stephen is owned by 4 cats, 3 dogs, and several chickens.
